The "mesmer" X is talking about is not "Mesmer Jr", X call them an adult.

Which also mean that X have beef with at least 2 members of the Mesmer family!

Researchers in Laplace generally need to ask the director (Lucy) for fundings, but X seem to have contact with "Mr. Laplace" and "adult Mesmer" and regularly ask them to invest in his research.

But perhaps it's more a funding for Lorentz, since X seem to be their spokesperson.

I wonder what became of Eagle's mom after the anedote.
Eagle was very protective of her mother and only accepted to join Laplace/Lorentz once her mother said she would stay close to the foundation
But the foundation don't protect the family of their staff from the storm.

It was either an attempt from the higher up to get rid of him after they realised he is from Lorentz, or an insane lvl test from them to see his abilities to survive/adapt..

It would be funny if X's actual relationship with the foundation it them regularly trying to k*ll him by giving him impossible mission but he always survive and make them regret it somehow.

This whole mission the foundation gave X was so suspicious.
They literally stuck him alone where no one could reach him in a place where he is slowly suffocating with basically an impossible job to do.. and X called it a "off-the-record" mission.

Lucy joined 8 years ago while X seemingly joined only around 2/3 years ago but Lucy said in the Livestream that she updated her body to make it easier to work with Laplace, so it is still possible he made the last update..

This anecdote renforced my idea that Lorentz see the world the same way as the school of Apeiron, and their current goals are the same (fixing the world/finding the truth, to return the world to its previous order).

I wonder if X will invit 37 to Lorentz.

Their relationship is very interesting, they are 2 nerds talking about math and rocks, and X act like the mom of the group when she is here.
I hope 37 find his number soon, I need to know what it is (my HC is that it is 1.. or infinity).
