This is why I prefer rules-light systems like Mörk Borg that by design are modular and have tons of third party content to slot into my games as I’d like. Hell, there’s a genre of TTRPGs called “Borgs” that are entire new settings with rules adapted to them. My fave.

I am having a blast running #Mothership #RPG ! It’s just such a great system with an ACE #GM guide (Warden Operations Manual). Started off the campaign with a bang using the Crashlanders framework, then started a slow burn towards the real #Horror. Shit’s about to get real for my players 😈 #TTRPG

3) But as a player, it felt awesome!! I took risks, I gloated, and I destroyed my opponent and we all cheered afterwards. As a player, I didn’t feel that it was a handout, but rather appropriate for the story we’re making together. And perhaps, in the future, I should reconsider my stance as the GM.

2) I wasn’t expecting favorable treatment, but it’s not the first time during the campaign that my PC and others in the group have been saved by the God Iomedae. To be clear - my PC would have died for sure without help. And my confliction is that I would not make someone invincible as the GM.

1) So I’m a little conflicted about what happened in Sunday’s #Starfinder game. My Vesk Soldier had a climactic fight for the title of King 👑 During the fight, the GM messaged that I was buffed immensely by Iomedae (literally invincible). The fight was incredible! But my victory didn’t feel earned..

5) Last One-shot scenario is looting a trapped crypt in the Valley of the Unfortunate Undead. There are multiple entrances and branches inside. Doing final touches before I playtest later this year.

4) A One-shot scenario which takes place in an alchemist’s tower near Lake Onda where they accidentally opened a portal to a demonic realm, releasing zombies and a demon and trapping them on the roof. Playtested 2 times and was a blast as well, but tweaking the difficulty level.
