to summarize the three of them: alpha is motivated by fear and curiosity, beta is motivated by bloodlust, and delta is motivated by a desire for affection and love. shenanigans between the three, as you could imagine, would be incredibly silly.

also the azm's combat capabilities scale in order of their construction, so delta would wipe the floor with beta and it wouldn't even be close (not that he's way stronger or anything, his only real weapon improvement is a much better laser system, he's just much better at piloting his own body.

delta's the nicest and beta's the cruelest, alpha and gamma are a lot more neutral and i'll write more for them when i draw them next. also originally i intended alpha and beta to be anthro, and gamma and delta to be quadruped, but i enjoy drawing quads more so i just decided to make them all quads.

beta is violent, arrogant, and seeks "glory" in combat, and is considered a failure by aztech because, unlike their problem with delta refusing to kill anyone, beta wanted to kill too much, constantly killing their own employees. beta is the only one of the azm's i'd consider objectively evil.

in the lore context, delta is a war machine that doesn't want to fight or hurt anyone, but given his circumstances inevitably ends up hurting people and is not happy about it.
