A spread of warm autumnal colors and various flora and fauna. As follows: Top left, a rabbit looking at the viewer mid binky, a carrot and flower motif surrounding. To the right, various gourds! Bellow the gourds, an array of carrots in all their natural hues. Center pages, a hare glancing upward. To the left, peppers of various kinds, two bell peppers, and two long peppers. The bells are chopped in half. Below, a tuft of grain. To the right finally, a large, geometric yet organic yellow maple, shedding a few leaves neatly into a pile.

Once again an array of various flora and fauna, but in an array of moody blues. To the top right, an elk mid step, peering at the viewer. To the left, a bushel of young cat tails. Below, a bell type flower hanging over a wee hamster. Center page, a sun with a grin. To the right, a daisy type flower; Below, a lily type flower dripping a drop of dew on to a frog. Finally to the left, a wolf scanning its flank.

Another part to a spread, using an array of purples and violets. The top right are beauty berries, and just below are some ripening mulberries. To the right, a very round bear takin a snooze. Below, a pair of pansies. Im gonna be honest I cant remember what plant is in the bottom left; hyacinth maybe? Rest of the page, another rotund bear looking at the viewer. Below, a simple banner with berries and leaves saying “ Happy Fall! “

The partner to the bear page. Got really loose and interpretive. Top right is a crane mid take off, looking back at the viewer. Below, a long necked bird curled into itself. Below that, a swan suspiciously hiding behind its wing. In the lower left margin, a canadian goose hunting for fish. Above, a long necked bird hydra, and one unfortunate bug. Above that, a wee duckling, happily floating. And lastly, in the top Left, a long necked bird deep under water looking for fish, with one just behind it.

Been working a lot lately, hardly trying to make anything serious rn but I’ve been really into using the post its at work to frame out my pages!!! I got some new markers im so excited to expand on these…

“Plein Aire” of a really beautiful section of the marshes across the pond from where I was. Prismacolor pencils and pigma pen

A deeper section of the trails; I like sitting here to listen to the frogs chirp. The text reads “ Mother, please know I love you. And be kind to me when youve had enough.” I made this on Earth Day.

Observational sketches of a different section of the trails; I love the amount of wildlife. These trails are really active with community members and wildlife, its helped me feel more grounded and connected. The text, from top left going rightward to the bottom: *Lots* of turts, saplings are in bloom, met a hobby bird watcher called Joe, occasional frogs, and lastly little spiderwebbing on grass.

Observational sketches in my favorite spot again! Texts read, from top left to bottom middle, going right: Saw a stoat get chased by Grackles, Tiny bugs how I love and hate you, 3! 3 herons! Ducks napping… Baby Geese are out! Frogs Sleeping..

With the warming temps ive been taking my sketchbook out on the marsh trails where I live!!! Its been a very meditative experience

This #watercolor chart shows 20 different colors created from French Ultramarine PB29+Transparent Yellow PY150. Wide-valued, rich, granulating greens. Still, I prefer Cobalt Blue PB28. How do you mix your greens?
