All of the negative reactions I've seen have been in regards to Mazin's involvement in s2 TLoU, but Chernobyl was supposed to be amazing & s1 of TLoU was fantastic. Really don't know what to expect.

Choosing to be cautiously optimistic about this for now, but I am fully prepared to pretend it doesn't exist if need be.

Gods, I wish me whining about being alone was enough to take out conservatives. We never would have had to live in *this* world if that were the case.

Local No Kings Protest was a great time. Despite the weather there was a fantastic turnout on foot & an incredible amount of supportive traffic. Ran into a bunch of friends & coworkers. Wish I'd gotten pictures of all the amazing signs I saw.

I'm a little spoiled on the two endings, but not on any specific details. I did the Songbird ending first, and it felt right but still tragic. I have an idea of where the Reed ending goes, but not how it gets there. Excited to explore it.

I did the Songbird ending first, because I just felt like I couldn't do otherwise. Seemed like the only choice for Streetkid V. Felt right, but bittersweet. Tragic.

Currently doing a corpo run through the other ending. Only version of V that it makes sense to me to go that route.

The Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 is without a doubt some of the best content in the game. Finished one ending already and I'm working on the other now. My heart breaks for Songbird.

Thanks to a glitch, I've enjoyed free Amazon Prime shipping for over 15 years. The feature that allowed the glitch to exist is being discontinued, so I'll be losing free shipping. Oh well. I feel really good knowing I cost Amazon even just a few thousand dollars worth of lost revenue, honestly.

Sunday was rest & recovery, which meant hermiting at home away from other people, playing Cyberpunk 2077, working toward the Phantom Liberty DLC. Fun, but not quite as fun as some of the rest of the weekend. Much, much more peaceful though.

Saturday night I attended a wonderfully decadent pool party at a friend's house. At the end of the night though I got stuck in an extremely unproductive conversation with a friend, due to strong feelings on the subject on both sides, but I think we worked things out before going our separate ways.

Thankfully I got a second wind & managed to make it out to Absentia, a local goth night at @thestarlitebar.bsky.social, and had a fantastic time, despite being stood up by a friend who was supposed to join me. Danced more than I normally do & had some good conversations with friends though.

Had a pretty fantastic weekend. For the most part. Went to lunch with a friend on Friday, which ended with them being shitty. They've since apologized, but change is the best apology, so we'll see. After that I had to waste a few hours & way more money than I'd wanted on having some car work done.

Really enjoyed both movies. Superman a little more for the aspirational nature of it, but Fantastic Four is the most comic-booky movie I've ever seen & the kid in me who grew up with Marvel comics was hooked from the first couple minutes. They were both bright, colorful, & hopeful. Very refreshing.

I wish I were more of a Clark Kent, but without a doubt I'm actually a Reed Richards.

Good with problems, less so with people; being myself hurts people I care about in ways I would never intend; and I wouldn't wish my brain on anyone else ever.
