Missing woman sought after vehicle found away from home, Portage County sheriff says Wausau Pilot & Review STEVENS POINT, Wis. — Portage County officials are asking for the public’s help locating a 34-year-old woman from the town of Alban who has been missing for nearly a week. Samantha M. Sackmann was last heard from on Nov. 14, according to a news release issued Thursday by Sheriff Mike Lukas. Sackmann, who has medical issues that require timely evaluation, left her residence before she disappeared.
