Robert Mitchum stars in this hardboiled noir as a detective who returns to Japan to help out an old friend only to discover that nothing is as it seems. Also featuring Ken Takakura and Richard Jordan. Sydney Pollack directs from a screenplay by Paul Schrader and Robert Towne.
Lifeforce (1985)
Tobe Hooper directs this British sci-fi horror about space vampires invading Earth. Cult film that is chiefly remembered for Mathilda May's extensive nude scenes. Also stars Steve Railsback and Patrick Stewart.
