“Censoring research on how to deliver treatments to those most in need isn’t just nonsensical; it puts lives at risk and undermines America’s leadership in medical innovation. Progress cannot occur if scientists are barred from asking certain questions. This is not how science works.”

This Op-ed applies to every state in the US, including mine. Research advances save lives, treat diseases like cancer, and sustain our environment. And yes, research investments in academic science power local and state economies, as well.

State AGs are looking for federal workers who have just been illegally fired to stand as litigants in a new lawsuit trying to freeze further action by DOGE.

Trump admin threatens to rescind federal funds over DEI In a sweeping and unprecedented letter issued over the weekend, the Office for Civil Rights declared race-based scholarships, cultural centers and even graduation ceremonies illegal.
