How do you weave yourself into the fabric of an organization and build your network from scratch?
I’d love to hear how others navigate this journey.
Onboarding into an organization is always a challenge.
The bigger the company, the longer it takes to understand its hierarchy, processes, communication channels, tools, and interfaces.
Do you have a process to onboarding?
I didn’t go to the dentist today because they wanted me to pay a €150 appointment fee in advance. I’m not even sure that’s legal.

Volvós kolléga nem szól neki. 5 perc után jön még 4 model S szépen állnak mögöttem, mint a gyöngysor. Várunk.
10 perc után felszabadul 2 hely. Volvós nem néz tükörbe, nem veszi észre hogy mögötte is elment valaki, egyszerre indulunk el, mindketten a hozzám közelebbi töltő felé.
50-es, tagbaszakadt, boxedző kinézetű magyar Volvós kollégával egyszerre érünk a töltőhöz ő balról, én jobbról.
Szólok neki, hogy 5 percet kell csak töltenem. “Mindenki ezt mondja”
5 perc után felszabadul egy hely. Egy Model X-es beáll, aki abban a pillanatban ér oda. Némi frusztráció van bennem.
Első Superchargeres töltési élményem: Balatonról hazafelé, székesfehérvári élelmiszer àruház mellett. 12 állás, tele az egész Európa különböző részéről érkezett autókkal.
10%-ot kell töltenem (5p), hogy hazaérjek.
What I love about Berlin and Vienna: you land, grab a coffee at some random spot, and chances are it’s a well-made, proper European-style coffee. Finally.

As someone who has worked in several different settings before…I’m still wondering why do product teams look for someone who’s done the exact same thing in almost the same environment before? What happened to empathy and growth mindset?

This is my seventh winter trip to the Canary Islands. Every time, I leave with the same bittersweet feeling—wishing I could stay, soak up the relaxed way of life, and never go back. I know it’s not possible, but the simplicity and charm of life here always captivate me.
