I think it would be a real mistake for the Dems to focus on the filibuster. Johnson can pass a standalone bill to fund SNAP at any time and chooses not to. All focus should be on *that*.

People abuse the term a lot; most recently members of the Israeli government and their defenders have made a sport of throwing it around at anyone and everyone they don't like. That's all the more reason, I think, to push back and insist on keeping it specific. Precision is good!
