For-profit insurance companies like UnitedHealthcare are defrauding taxpayers out of $80 billion a year.
HHS Secretary Kennedy claims he wants to "clean up corruption" while he is doubling taxpayer dollars to these companies.
That sounds like the real "waste, fraud, and abuse."
Ruiz: Why did the report include citations that donβt exist?
RFK JR: All of the foundational assertions in that report are accurate
Ruiz: How can they be accurate if they did not exist?
NEW: NSF will be kicked out of their building. Announcement will be made tomorrow by HUD Sec. and Governor of VA. HUD will take over the NSF building over the next two years.
NSF staffer: "There is no planning for NSF, no identified future location, appropriation for a new building or a move."
This seems like a really strong campaign launch video. No idea her other policy positions, but an impressive first impression.

NSF just cancelled ALL grants to Harvard researchers. Thatβs right - physics, astronomy, bio, CAREER - ALL. Professors wonβt get paid. Postdocs wonβt get paid. PhD students wonβt get paid. This is insane!
If they can do this to Harvard, they can do this to your school.
My advisor @baym.lol pointedly speaking with WBUR.
βI think that reason is a pretense. I think that this is an attack on Harvard as a symbol of academia in the United States.β
GOP tax bill on track to add more than $2.5 trillion to U.S. deficit
But, on the other hand, it will kill many children.
DeLauro nails it. This is illegal impoundment. Every last dollar that was appropriated by Congress for the NIH that has been "saved" needs to spent on its intended purpose: scientific research for the benefit of the American people.

Since I administered the WH emoluments rules, let me explain why this is forbidden
Trump expressed interest in it before it was offered
He is going to use & benefit from it a while in office
And he's going to keep using it after he leaves!
Functionally, it's a gift to him & so it's illegal
The Framers were so wise to write a constitutional clause saying "no foreign presents or emoluments whatsoever, except if you hold them through a foundation that you control & whose property is available for your personal use, in which case, NP & BFD: YOLO!"

"Everybody relax," he says in an interview with the New York Times. Everyone does. The networks then televise the military parade in his honor on his birthday.

NEWS: I just led 112 of my colleagues in demanding answers from the Trump Administration on their funding freeze of the National Science Foundation.
Cutting off NSF funding threatens vital research, stalls innovation, and risks ceding global scientific leadership to China.
"A report by economists at American University in Washington DC estimates that a 50% reduction in federal science funding would reduce the US gross domestic product by approximately 7.6%."
Science is an amazing engine of economic activity and progress for the US ... or at least it was.
