Deeply recommend getting absolutely brainrotted about a pairing/oc/concept that no one else is making food for so you have to cook for yourself. Not only is making what you want to see deeply rewarding, you will improve and it will not even be on purpose it will just be the inevitable byproduct.

IK it’s low hanging fruit to shit on Best Wishes, but I feel like it’s a knee jerk reaction to the hate Trip gets. Like Ash having a rookie as a major rival, one with a region’s grass type starter at that, was something that turned many people off.

I'd argue that genuine fans of Ash's tenure are a rare example of fans treating its canon character(s) better than ones in charge of writing and what not, in this case Yuyama in particular. Idk if this is a Japan Culture thing, which yeah the anime treats them bad at times imo

As someone who is taken the time to write one long fic with another on the way, no matter how well developed the long term outline is, writer's block is one hell of a bitch tbh, especially if you are dealing w/mental health issues.
