Thanks for letting us know, Tom!
Our GOTA stations were very popular. One of our young guests liked it so much (working FT8) last night that he came back again this morning to try phone mode on HF. You might actually have heard him, too.

We heard few kids on the air from your VHF station, that was really cool!

A gas-powered generator on a blue tarp. A fire extinguisher and a can of fuel are placed next to it. Two traffic cones highlight the area. A smaller, older-looking generator is off to the site, but isnβt connected.
Weβre operating fully off the grid for those precious extra points. The green generator runs on alcohol as βalternative fuel.β

The white flag is attached to the tower just beneath the Yagi antenna at the top. Wires are running in the foreground towards another antenna.
Our club is flying a flag in memory of George Golda WA6NKM (SK) from the antenna tower. π’ George passed in 2023 and we miss him dearly.
The flag shows Georgeβs call sign, the words βSilent Key,β and a cute 50s-style caricature of a guy operating a radio.
Itβs an irrigation valve. Pressing the handle on the blowgun nozzle releases the pressure inside the valve, which then opens to release the air in the pressure canister.
