Work cancelled my time off to go to the doctors 4 days before I’m supposed to go. Going to go anyway.

The middle?

I've burned through so many resources. Yesterday a recruiter told me that I've tried too much and will likely not get hired because of it. I have a therapist but these feelings don't go away after talking with her. If I could change my work/life situation I think my mood will improve.

I think it would help if I had someone to talk to me and listen to me, but no one will. No one is available, really. I don't want it to sound like I'm blaming anyone for this. Everyone has their crosses to bare. But I feel very alone here. All I'm doing is existing. And I'm really sick of that.

I have a few social engagements but I'm so miserable that it takes no time before I have lost how good those moments make me feel. I have a few hours of high twice a month at most. Then I am back to this brooding and misery.

I have given up on all of my hobbies. I am not interested in drawing. I don't have the energy for programming or working out. My mind is so distractable that I can't focus on reading or podcasts. My eyes are so weak that I can't focus on my screens to read or interact.

Goodwill is falling to the tantrum of failing capitalism. Every day they announce a change that makes work/life balance increasingly difficult. I can't even get a day off without swapping my time with another employee or sacrificing my small amount of vacation hours to accommodate.

There is no one for me to spend any time around. The schedule I work ensures that when others have time then I do not. When I am free from my job it is too late in the evening for people or it is the wrong day of the week. So I do not socialize at all.

Things are not getting better. My every day is to wake up, go to work, and then go to bed. There is nowhere for me to go in this town. Everything here is priced for tec industry salaries. All the rest of us are fucked.
