Saw Moulin Rouge at Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto this afternoon, love a gay matinee. I hadn’t seen the play or movie so I had zero expectations. The casting was perfect and I was so happy to see queer characters and beautiful sets designed by Derek McLane. 😭

I love a villain, and the original Grinch film was the best cus it was just 15 min of him explaining why he hates the whos, then 15 min of him robbing them down to the last crumb. Then he has a quick change of heart and is celebrated as a hero. Yay!

Glinda asks Dorothy if she’s a good witch or a bad witch.

A few min later Dorothy is like woah ur a witch? But ur so pretty. and Glinda’s like yeah only bad witches are ugly.

Did anyone else catch that shade?

I feel the same way! I left the corporate world earlier this year and found my nervous system had to recalibrate. I’ve been enjoying these little moments of everyday life like never before 😭

I also think using the term “cheat meal” to describe a high calorie meal doesn’t even make sense… you are not cheating… you literally need food to survive, and you have clearly planned for this meal as part of your intake, so why use these harsh words???

I hate this trending phrase “rotting in bed” or “rot” to describe what is literally just resting!

This crazy world makes so many demands on our time! Like damn can I lay in bed for a day without selling my labour or whatever thing you think I should be doing instead. It’s called resting!
