Oh 100%, the storage is the main issue, but it's value is such that for every day life a Sphere of Aqua is more than enough, it's only once you start making really Big Purchases that it starts getting silly. Like a Sailboat is 90,000 Drops, so 900 fist sized globe bottles

Even if you need to start shipping it in barrels for large purchases, but that just keeps Big Barrel in business so it evens out

So it's simultaneously unlimited but also finite in its application, it can be cut with regular water for counterfeiting, it has a universal value. It's kind of the perfect fantasy currency and I really like it from a world building perspective

It's also just a great currency imo, each City has ostensibly an infinite supply from its aqualiths, but it has utility outside of being money (purifying chaos taint, used to promote crop growth in hostile or unlikeable terrain) so the excess becomes finite and allows for circulation

The way it works in the ttrpg is kinda great, because it's healing water you can just drink it as a healing potion, just very direct no nonsense resource to utility
