So, a word of advice to a friend: Keep your Jedi heart open. Hate the racists right back. But try to see the scared and heart-broken for what they are, scared and heartbroken.
Build bridges on any commonground you can find. This is the only antidote to this poison.

No matter how it feels in any given moment, isolation is an illusion. And a lie.

Integrity is a human need. It is always the right time to stand up for your values. There is no one right way to do that. Just be sure to do it, for your own best health.

Today I wrote to my senators and asked them to back Senator Warrens' budget proposal to change the DOD funding structure and to allow Medicare to negotiate prescription drug costs as means to cut the federal budget.
And I wrote some "I Love You" cards to people I am grateful to be connected to 💖

Spent time volunteering and working in nature today. There is so much to process. Good moments and hard moments. But I am mostly focused on: "Be What You Would Rather See".
