this change in attitude/political allegiance has certainly not been true of my whole family but it turns out there are cis people out there who do give a shit about trans people and will change their vote to support us, no matter what the powers that be might tell you

anecdotally: my mum is a lifelong Tory who gave up on the party after i transitioned and texted me at 7:30 this morning celebrating the Green win
