Thank you to all supporters of the #vacanthomestax and #Renoviction bylaws. Both passed unanimously by committee of the whole and are set to be implemented in 2026. We are pleased that the VHT was approved at 4%, as we had advocated for. Way to go #guelph!

#guelph City Council will be reviewing a recommendation to implement a #vacanthomestax at 2% on Nov. 4. This would be revenue neutral for the city. This does not go far enough.
