This was great! The parts about recording deadlines and the evolution of what even constitutes an album were both really interesting.

Personally, I'll absolutely wait for a complete album on vinyl, but clearly artists have an incentive to get everything out at the same time.

I bought a new record once that was a modern rerelease of an old album. The grooves weren't pressed deeply enough to even hear it at regular volume!
