This episode is Ezra at his finest. Balanced, calm, clear and very worried.

The fact he has to WALK up an escalator is news!
Karoline Leavitt, who said on X that any UN staff found to have intentionally stopped the escalator should be “fired and investigated immediately”.
He gets more and more dangerously ridiculous as the days go by.

School history lessons minimise the role of women, report finds
Campaigners say key stage 3 curriculum plays to misogny and teaches a ‘false version of the past’
DNA and Rosalind Franklin for example!
It's why I wrote my book about the brilliant Maria Mendeleeva.
Her legacy reaches beyond her son Dmitri. Brilliant women have shone powerful beams that have been obscured by careless curricula and skewed storytelling.

This is us. The only barriers are mountains, seas and rivers.
One planet. One chance. Multiple life forms that will survive us.
It’s humbling. It’s glorious. It’s home.

This is a somber, and also hopeful discussion. Well worth tuning into on your travels.
The politics of energy in the age of Trump, and how cheap, abundant power could transform not just the climate fight but democracy itself.

Trump urges pregnant women to avoid Tylenol over unproven autism link
Some studies have suggested an association between the two, but experts say there is no causal relationship.
His expertise on matters medical is unparalleled.
President Trump will be practising brain surgery next month ( I use the word advisedly) using lego and ping-pong balls!
One wonders what his mother ingested during her pregnancy to nourish such a mind.

Charlie Kirk DM’d me before he was murdered. Here’s what he said. | CNN Politics
The day before he was horrifically murdered, Charlie Kirk sent me a direct message on X.
This interview is a respectful summary of the principle Kirk espoused 'we can disagree agreeably.'
This principle shared by Kirk, Klein, and Van Jones.
It is the civilised way forward.
I disagreed with what Kirk said, but not with how he said it.
We need to talk.

Such a cool little documentary: it packs a punch. Just watched this with one of my younger students and she loved it. it’s brilliant how seriously the young are taking climate change and taking imaginative action.

Yes this is happening to me too. Lots of AI generated spam emails offering PR and when I decline they get very narky!
Nothing sinister and I block the emails but they are annoying.

ALT: a man with a beard wearing a yellow shirt that says " everybody makes mistakes "
Yikes being flooded by spam AI driven PR proposals for my book published in 2019! I’m assuming the algorithm is targeting books low on Amazon.😂 When the offer is politely declined the emails get rude very fast. 😂😂 A human might need to tweak the algorithm. AI has a way to go bless it!
