I don't have many photos online to do this with... but this is probably from 2002ish.

I'm fascinated by people who seem to always have drama going on around them. People who post about people threatening them or arguing with them or saying insane negative things. I'm not talking about famous people or "big" accounts. I'm talking about just regular old people. It's so odd.

there's so much bad in the world but there's also people who lift up and carry an elderly bat around every day so he can pretend he's flying again, and that's the part of the world I think is worth fighting for

I felt so gaslit by people who loved the book and movie.

Platner is quite literally not qualified to be elected. He's either too stupid or a massive liar. Both disqualify him.

In every Republican presidency of my lifetime there's been a recession and a new war in the Middle East.

The love this series gets has never made sense to me.

People can say it’s utopian or dreamy but it’s a fact that you have to believe new things are possible, fundamentally, in order to make them real. You have to make the choice to believe that more than this is possible & not be resigned to this being the way things have to be because it’s not at all.

There are only few truisms in this world.
1) Don't cross the men's wear guy
2) Never fight a land war in Asia
And 3) Do not get Chotinered

The best part is that they imply that he turned to evil because his writing career failed. Which I totally get.

Now I'm watching the X Files episode where we find out Cigarette Smoking Man killed both JFK and MLK and also was responsible for Anita Hill, Rodney King, and the Miracle on Ice. 10/10

I'm so excited. I wish we had done it back then, but now it's also good. And it's our own game system!

The guest actress is really good in it. The only real issue is that it's a bit melodramatic. The whole Mulder and Scully and this random woman we never talk about again have traveled through time together connected is a bit much.

The episode of the XFiles where we learn that Mulder and Scully were confederate soldiers in a past life and also father (Scully) and daughter (Mulder) during the holocaust is one of those things that seems like a joke about 90s tv but is very much not.

interesting that it's taken as a given that the US should have a hand in shaping who the iranian people choose as their leader
