I want desperately to stop the SAVE act, get law enforcement to do something with the findings in the Epstein files (resigning to be rich & horrible in a less prominent way is not adequate), and abolish ICE. And yet, even after phone calls & donations I’m 1000 miles from power on these things.

I watched the new “Wuthering Heights,” and folks who say it isn’t about anything are not very good at film interpretation. It’s uncomfortably tumbling around in my brain with a few other recent films that I could seeing writing a little something about.

This book is dedicated to the fond memory of the late _______. She was an ideal wife to a man totally dedicated to research. This left her husband all the time and leisure to pursue his research. In spite of being just a matriculate, she understood the value of her husband's work; even though financially it was not rewarding, she encouraged him in his labor of love. It is her understanding of the man that has let this book be a reality.

I was looking at an academic book by some random dude. It seemed interesting, until I got to the dedication, and... oh no.

Much less a 1970s floral one. :(

I have been actively involved in protest movements for 24 years. I have never seen anything approaching this scale. Minneapolis is not accepting what's happening here. ICE fucking murdered a woman for participating in this, and all that did is bring out more people, from more walks of life.
