I don’t know about you, but I’m kinda on Team Do Nothing unless we can get a needle moving rental for a goalie cheap.

That, to me, is more acceptable than spending 5-8 minutes drawing pixels to see if someone was the most marginal of offside. I also think the chances of something requiring that much time but also being that obvious on TV cameras is relatively slim, much slimmer than pixel-mania.

It's the wrong fix for the correct problem. Ideally, I'd rather see VAR reviews limited to, say, 60 seconds or 120 at the absolute most. If you can't tell if there's a clear and obvious error in that amount of time, then there wasn't one.

I do think it’s somewhat memory-holed just how many controllers we have missed in our lineup throughout the entirety of the season, and how few games we’ve gotten with a core of tidy players playing together, tidily.

Merino, Havertz, Odegaard, etc - almost never being available simultaneously.
