Finally, I wish to acknowledge the man whose birthday I have often had the privilege of celebrating along with my own, Dr Martin Luther King, Jr.. Despite his faults, he helped us see a new America. May the vision of his final speech inspire us all to carry on to the Land of Promise.

Thanks to all who wished me a Happy Birthday! Despite the tragedy playing out on our national stage, I passed a pleasant day with the family. I had the joy of sharing with Jenn and our kids the magnificent cinematic and musical moments of Wicked, whose themes seem all too poignant today.
