A few friends of mine and I would refer to this as the "It's On" moment. Logan got one of the best "It's On" Moments in comics and it has made all the difference. All characters should find their moment.

If they thought they were going to get a more conservative readership then they forgot one simple irrefutable fact. Conservatives can't read.

When Oz came back and learned Willow and Tara were a thing he should have lost control and mauled Xander to death. Setting up a man in search or redemption arc where he becomes Willow and Tara's biggest cheerleader, and ultimately he ends up marrying Anya. There, much better show.

I always figured his ultimate celebrity was in the Fallon sense, not really but kinda so long as he performs his sole task of affirming actual celebrities. He's a hanger on, that is afforded the trappings of celebrity in a contingent fashion.
