but these are my lil tips (and a zoom in) sorry for the scuff i made this on the go LMAO but i hope it helps

if you're like me and get easily overwhelmed w new software: figure out ur basic brush, eraser and how to create layers. once you get used to doodling with that, explore slowly at your own pace! + be realistic and kind to yourself and understand you won't do a picasso on a program you just started

i used photoshop all my life and then switched to clip studio paint 2 years ago. highly recommended it over PS! the brush textures are a lot of fun, and it has a lot of the image editing PS has.. i use the liquify tool a LOT for quick changes!

for anatomy, i see the body as puzzle pieces in a big block. it helps A LOT looking at references -rl anatomy AND how other artists simplify and draw these shapes-
easy process is doing a stick figure, then shaping big blocks -head,torso,abdomen,etc- and then i start working on defining muscles

in general, for poses i usually think "what am i trying to tell w this pose?" poses show emotion/intention
ex, a kissing scene: draw them clinging to e/o, desperately? gently? shy like a first time? shocked?

think abt the situation, ur characters, and conveying that emotion thru poses and angles

Promoting this again cus some family stuff came up last minute so I really gotta save up

I'm not a profesional but if anyone has any Qs abt my process or wants recommendations, ask away o7
