Great piece, @timsteller.bsky.social. Just read this. How terrifying that must have been for her.

@bikingmom.bsky.social, I’m not sure where the conversation is happening, but here is my clarification in hopes that it helps. Thank you again for alerting me to the confusion and calling it out.

I appreciate the heads up. In fact, I’ll work on something to post to make it very clear what I was actually trying to say. I definitely want folks to know where I’m at on this. Thank you again.

I agree, it’s definitely reasonable to request, and I appreciate you requesting it, @bikingmom.bsky.social
A horribly structured sentence that is even more horrible when translated from speech to text without correct punctuation. I appreciate the opportunity to clarify.

Also, to be as clear as possible, my point was that 40 million people rely on the CO River, and it’s a shared resource, so to say that β€œwe can’t share that usage number” (from the developer) does not make sense to me. I suppose this is why I prefer written communication.

We’re on the same team here, @bikingmom.bsky.social, with protecting our water. Always feel free to contact me with any concerns. I apologize that my comment wasn’t as clear as it could have been. You can always reach me at ward4@tucsonaz.gov if you’d like to share feedback or ask questions.

Excellent, thank you for sharing @bikingmom.bsky.social. When I was referring to β€œusage”, I’m referring to the volume of water usage that this project needs and the lack of transparency around that usage number. I really appreciate you sharing the link so I can clarify what I mean by β€œusage”.

@bikingmom.bsky.social thank you for your comment. I said a lot about water in my newsletter and asked many questions so we can protect it. Would love to understand which part of my newsletter made you feel this way. I see every drop of water as precious and a resource we must protect.

I totally understand and appreciate the sentiment of the legislation. As a parent, I have the same thoughts and am conflicted. Yes, the phones are a huge distraction from learning. And yes, knowing my child can reach me in the event of an emergency is top of mind.

Oh, and family migrated to America from the UK (McMillen). I can’t wait to visit the mother land someday. Now I have friends to visit. πŸ˜ƒ

I appreciated Math’s clothing, as did my fellow Tucsonans who had the opportunity to meet him. ☺️ There are so many issues that we are all trying to solve, no matter what villages/towns/cities/counties we represent. That was the focus of our convos, not clothing. Great exchange of ideas. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ ❀️ 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This is a wonderful idea! I’m so proud of my home state! I hope this happens and more states move in the same direction.

This is awesome. I love what was done at the Park Place Mall too. Makes such a difference and brings these spaces to life.

Election security aid is on the chopping block, rattling local officials The White House is supposed to decide March 6 whether cuts to election security resources for state and local elections will be permanent.

As a local elected official and cybersecurity leader, I’m deeply concerned about federal cuts to election security. CISA has been vital in protecting state & local elections. Key programs are now at risk.

These cuts weaken our defenses and erode public trust.

It’s great to celebrate local progress, especially when things feel out of control nationally. 😊 We officially opened the Mary Ann Cleveland Way Shared-Use Path in Ward 4! This 1.3-mile path connects residents to schools, parks, and shopping, making it safer to walk, bike, and use mobility devices.

This should deeply concern ALL Americans. As a cybersecurity professional, I’m stunned by what is happening before our eyes and the lack of action to stop this. There may be accountability in the future (if we’re lucky), but the systems and data are compromised now.

My favorite part of last night’s Mayor & Council meeting was hearing from Girl Scouts about the problems they want to focus on. All the girls spoke about how to help unsheltered people. The future is bright, friends. 😊
