The long running “Improvised Music at Willimamtic Records” series continues this Saturday. Organized by Michael Larocca, this monthly event brings together CT, NY, MA and RI based musicians with touring artists passing thru the region.

As a CT small business owner, I’d hoped our state tourism bureau wouldn’t use someone with a reputation for racist and sexist behavior to promote our region.

Just a week after the creep publicly rooted for a missile to hit Greta Thunberg, the Connecticut Office of Tourism excitedly shares the dude’s pizza opinion.

Our zip code in Willimantic is 06226. That makes June 2, 2026 “Willimantic, U.S.A. Day”. At least in my head that’s how it works.

In addition to our home in Willimantic’s BLiSS Marketplace, we also sell records in Wethersfield’s Mill Street Marketplace. Sunday, April 27th looks to be a fun time to visit if you haven’t had a chance to check out Mill Street yet.

Rain or shine, we’re still on for tomorrow. Music will likely be moved indoors.
