A card written by a child is decorated with hearts, books, ice cream, stars, and a butterfly. The message has some misspellings and reads: "I am thankful for all the books that you have provided for us! You have amazing books that we love to read. The librarians are so nice and that's why we are so grateful. Best librarians ever! We love books! Thank you!"

We recently got a pleasant surprise in the mail! After learning about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s commitment to service and community, the students at Whitehills Elementary decided to practice their own commitment to their community, and sent a big packet of thank you notes to the library! #LibSky

Last year ELPL grew in many ways, and our community has been more engaged than ever, proving every step of the way that libraries are still essential and beloved cornerstones of society. Here's a look back at 2025 by the numbers. #LibSky #Library #YearInReview
