Camino-Time! From Saturday on I will be back on the Camino Frances

The final part of my series: no gos on the Camino part 8: Disturbing the locals. I am a local myself, but living in the city center, it’s more the normal tourists that blocks my way than the pilgrims. But in small towns, even the sound of the sticks must drive the locals nuts.

Here come no go number seven! It is about showing others the ugly blisters on your feet. I also wish that it would be forbidden to show them on social media 😀

Part 6 of my no-go series: sleeping in a dorm as a heavy snorer. I know that not everyone can afford private rooms, but if you can, take responsibility and don’t keep 10-30 other people up.

Eucalyptus forests are very typical along the Caminho Português. You’ll find them between Lisbon and Porto, as well as after Porto. The smell when the sun is shining is incredible.

Update: Ivar asked at the Pilgrims Office in Person and it seems that the information has been published a little too early. They plan a press release in a few weeks for the details of the new rules.

Hm… good question if you could get also a Compostela for the Frances then. In theory yes. The issue is that they still haven’t put the information on the website and they don’t answer emails, so the only information we have is from the capitol of the cathedral and he wasn’t very precise
