These will be my first illustrations for the year…. And perhaps my last for the year too

I keep showing these WIPs but look at them again

I think the only time I’ve been really intrigued about a serie’s world building is Beastars

My favourite go to the past few years has been this thing that makes your layer give this line around it

I used the texture brush in csp as I like how it’s grainy + the layer property with black edge colour

Still wip but which do you guys like best between portrait (1) or landscape (2) ?

I like when the meat at asian restaurants are soft and tender and I remember liking it at this thai restaurant. I overheard someone that they didn’t like the dish at all bc the meat was too soft and ‘overcooked’.. I came back another time and they changed the meat to a harder chewier texture 😭😭

Still not 100% sure if I want the spiky frame more outside the drawing bc I still like the previous one as well.. but the edges pointed out would look pretty good as a shirt 🤧

I needed to see how it looked like in landscape formate so I used more than 3 hours to draw more but I will have to think about it …. Tomorrow

It will also be summer so no more scarf/ hoodie for me until next winter

Got myself a helix piercing recently and I’m so happy bc it looks sooo good 🤧🤧🤧 I got it like immediately once I realized I could just put my hair to the side with a hairpin for less friction and such lmao

A pleasant surprise and a nice reason to get up in the morning

I made some oat/yoghurt/milk/chia seed/ choco powder bowl at night and got too lazy to eat it all then left it overnight. I actually didn’t expect to like overnight oats so much I ate it all so fast

I’ve heard from several different people over the past 10 years telling me out of the blue that I shouldn’t change while refusing to tell me what is wrong and then tell me ‘you won’t be you anymore’ and everyone have been really adamant to not tell me what is up even now

My cousin is also allergic to alcohol. At this point she’s chugging wine and eating the tiramisu.

Me: I guess if you are going to the hospital, might as well get it all done

Cousin: I think it’s getting better now! let’s order some desseeerts
Me: yay
Cousin: what do we get
Me: I want a tiramisuu
Cousin: yess tiramisu it is

*order arrives and we stare at it*

Me: you are lactose intolerant 🫢
Cousin: are you trying to get me killed 😭💀 I also can’t handle coffee

Cousin: and when you get a waiter… ask them —
Me: — for an ambulance……
Cousin: No, for the bill.
Me: … then for the ambulance….
Cousin: No

Cousin: I think the inside of my neck are swelling
Me: do I call 113 now
Cousin: no let’s wait 20 more min and see if it gets worse. Ough it’s swelling.
Me: Do I call now
Cousin: No, look around for a waiter
Me: ok.. * Looks around*

I remember this convo I had with yoga cousin when we were having a dinner in Italy.

Me: *drunk*
Cousin: I think I’m having an allergic reaction to this shrimp.
Me: *sobered up* what do I do ?
Cousin: do you remember what I taught you?
Me: yes of course call 114
Cousin: no…no… 113

I think I may have been mistaking their speechlessness for appreciation

«Oh… but where are you going 🥺?»
