Repaired a final-gen ipod touch today, and it was a perfect example of why I don’t like modern Apple products: it required soldering to remove and install a new battery. when compared to a classic ipod, which was just a connector, the modern electronics truly aren’t built to be serviceable.

Ah, yes, just what adaptations of H.G. Wells's novel really needed: Zoom calls and stock footage from DVIDS.

Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung palaces are amazing, as is the Jongmyo Shrine. Walking around the hanok villages is also fun (Ikseon-Dong was a cute shopping area in old neighbourhood). There's also the Insa-Dong and Namdaemun districts (I spent pretty much all my time in Jongno-gu).
