Madison County Pride Pageant 2025 will be crowning Mr., Miss, and Mx. titles, with a $300 prize, crown, medallion, and sash for each winner. The event will be held June 20th, 2025 at 9 p.m.. For contestant packet info, contact Rainbow Trouble, Brian Williams, or Sapphire Starlington. The pageant will be honoring Miss Ditto Landing (Meagan Flosha) and Mx. Ditto Landing (Tempest Darkchylde) and is presented by CCS Productions.

Huntsville Bail Fund presents: Protest Planning 101, a community organizing workshop. The event will be held at the Madison Public Library (124 Plaza Boulevard, Auditorium One) on May 10th at 2 p.m. Huntsville-Madison County Public Library does not sponsor this program.

Protests are important, and they're both most effective and most safe for participants when they're planned well. Come to the Huntsville Bail Fund's Protest Planning 101 workshop this Saturday at 2 p.m. to learn more. The workshop will be held at the Madison Public Library in Auditorium One.

Senate Bill 79 (SB79), the “What Is a Woman” Act, is slated for a hearing TOMORROW (Feb 11). House Bill 67 (HB67), which could punish innocent transgender Alabamians simply for being present at schools or libraries, has a hearing on Wednesday (Feb 12).
