Die Versorgungslage von ME/CFS-Patienten ist vollkommen unzureichend. Aber einige Ärzte scheinen die wissenschaftliche Literatur völlig zu ignorieren. Sie argumentieren auf der Grundlage einer vermeintlichen (gefühlten) Wahrheit, die sie aus angeblichen Erfahrungswerten ableiten.

Derzeit kann mensch sehr gut ein Lehrstück in PLURV bei ME/CFS in den SozialenMedien beobachten:
1. Es wird eine wissenschaftlich falsche Meinungen zu MECFS gepostet von Eminenz xy
2. Diese Meinung wird von Spezialisten zu MECFS sachlich und korrekt durch Studien widerlegt.

This way, one could identify the most critical aspects of these protocols. And perhaps I have overlooked something that could help me.

My symptoms have never been severe, but my progress is just as incremental as Whitney described his.

People more familiar with the BF protocol have told me that my protocol has some similarities. It is worth looking into, and I have put it on my (never-ending) To-Do list to compare both. ⤵️

They confirmed that they see some of their patients improve and even recover. Some of these patients have been bedbound. It is also essential to set realistic expectations, as Whitney does in his video, by discussing the aspects he is still struggling with despite his improvements. ⤵️

It is good to see that Whitney's condition has improved, but it is also clear that the illness is still taking a toll. The most important message is: People with ME/CFS can get better. When I started to improve, and PEM disappeared, I talked to doctors who treat ME/CFS patients. ⤵️
