It is taken from directly in front of the cat down at its eye level and the focus is tight on the cat's face. You can see how beautiful it is, its serious expression, and every detail down to the last whisker while the body is out of focus and the background is simply a dark blur. It's almost like the cat is in a spotlight on a stage.
