57% of SNAP recipients live in states that voted for Trump. By refusing to distribute November food assistance Republicans will be hurting their own constituents the most.

The last few years have seen surface temperature, ocean temperature, and sea ice extent records broken by extraordinary margins plus the largest coral bleaching event ever recorded, affecting 84%.

22 of 34 planetary vital signs are at record levels.

In parts of Alaska, water is replacing ice. The Yakutat, Alsek, and Grand Plateau glaciers have retreated dramatically, creating some of the most rapid lake growth in the U.S. this century.

Together, the three lakes more than doubled in size over 40 years.
