I now believe Capcom could & would remake RE 6 & completely turn it into a classic. Blending survival horror with balls to the wall action can be done & it can be done well

The rumors are 0 & CV are next but 5 & 6 before 10 would be amazing. Who knows? I always kind of thought 5 would be next

It is such a beloved game. A classic at this point. Even a few tweaks and a native ps5/pc port would be great. It does just suck that something so loved feels so abandoned

The little details are so important in horror. Like a creature simply grabbing a door frame before pulling itself into a room or zombies showing small signs of their humanity left. Modern Resident Evil is so conscious of this. I love it. There is a reason it is one of Capcom's biggest franchises

Just for the record I'll be posting very minimally about RE 9 until I & mutuals are finished the game.

The first playthrough of a new RE is sacred, don't ruin it for people who may not be able to play as soon or as often as you.

It's funny when I think back over past situations & realize that even though I may have felt righteous at the time I really was just an ass. My biggest regrets are the times I was a jerk when I didn't need to be. People will be people. All you can control is yourself

Yup. To be honest, I'm sure they would have loved to shorten up 4 Remake even more than they did but there is just a lot more ground to cover in that one & it's probably the most widely beloved game in the series

Yes! The whole point is to become so familiar with the game that you don't even have to try to finish in a few hours. I'm gonna be taking my sweet sweet time as well. It's important to savour it

Absolutely. Those accomplishments always feel good. The game length conversation is so stale. I don't even like to comment on it usually but there's always gonna be someone trying to knock the wind out of your sails
