I read a book that consists of the introductions of these three books this morning. The only apparent connection between them is that I navigated from one to the other.

The idea of being responsible and agentic in a cosmic, karmic way of belonging to a privileged group.

Normal people? Or women?

I had a story about aliens whose skin reacts to the chemicals in human skin after a delay. They are trafficked for art performances in which their skin is changed in real time.

I had a story about a world in which fuel for fire has almost completely gone, from the perspective of a man who collects and sells books to burn.

I storyboarded a scene about an inventor who amplifies his partner's superpower to alter reality in the minds of those around her, but she can only either do it in a concentrated way to one person, or in a subtle way to lots of people. She keeps erasing his mind but his memory always comes back.

Or perhaps the article I read after as I was waiting for the news to upload. The idea of whether we have agency or not in light of structural power, as recently described by the pope. Though the pope said humanity rather than agency.

In a more complex scene, I identify with how Spike Lee is sitting here, while having just read an article about an early Black female preacher named Lee who described being a medium for someone else's (God's) words, words I use to describe myself. Is that negated?

Or the power of cinema.

Or the rhetoric of public safety.

But let's stick with the negation because that's a very simple logic gate that can create a schism between interpretations. For instance, whether a tight immigration policy is important or not.

The co-incidence of dad going away with "not going away" created in my mind a negation that layered over the rest of the program. I look now and notice the "leaving" when he was leaving as well though.

If we put tonight's news into a scene, for instance. I and my father were finishing dinner during this segment when he got up to collect my plate and got in the way of the tv. Exactly as he left, the narrator said "the agents leaving but the issue not going away".
