As someone who lives in a fairly large city filled with MAGA I think this is incredibly short sighted. Hell most large cities here along with the small ones are solidly red. This kind of thinking will catch us off guard which they are counting on.

It's Banned Book Week and @stephenking.bsky.social is "the most banned author during the school year. [87 of his titles] were banned" according to PEN America. Florida, for the 3rd straight year, leads the nation in book bans. PEN America reports nearly 23,000 instances of bans across 45 states.

As an Tylenol American I can say they seem like the *most* autistic religion out there.
