Definitely. And he's so good at coming infield. He knows when he'll be of value coming off his when.

O'Brien for me was absolutely pivotal today.

A sub that took it to another level. No self doubt, just performance.

Indeed. And today was very much one of those days

Genuinely thought he'd be a nightmare for us.

He did too.

He won't sleep well tonight

It's always something done in desperation. You've lost the battle of power, so go for the weak angle.

Nah, letter of the law, yellow

Feels like the greatest win against England EVER!

Actually crying

21.02.2026 16:11 — 👍 39    🔁 1    💬 1    📌 0

And all the teams target that. Easiest yards they'll make all competition

Would love to see that. And how many of his "successful tackles" are double tackles where someone like McCloskey or VDF is doing most of the work in a double tackle

21.02.2026 10:03 — 👍 2    🔁 0    💬 0    📌 0

Indeed.

And it tells us that the 69% tackle success would be a LOT lower if he committed to as many tackles, but the lad is petrified of contact so avoids as much as he can.

Including hospital passes in his own try area.

I also feel like the stats miss some of the obvious too

21.02.2026 09:07 — 👍 1    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

I mean, sounds like you're nailing it!

20.02.2026 10:33 — 👍 3    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

And how does that work for you?

20.02.2026 09:57 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

Will sheep do? There's some in the field down the road.

I've had such an incredibly busy and stressful week in work. And it looks like I have months of high stress stuff ahead.

The weekend can't come soon enough.

And all I need, apart from sleep, is for Ireland to somehow hop off the English.

Please. Pretty please.

It's arrogance. The belief you're one of the powerful, not one of the powerless. They seek to align themselves with who they think are their peers, the angry controlling power. Then the leopards eat their face too.

So rare, and even better when it's so dramatic

It was honestly like pure therapy. I felt my mind calm and my shoulders melt.
