You're right that hospital administration is a complicated endeavor and that a hospital doesn't close lightly. Hard to capture within the character limits. But surely, funding reimbursements at a higher level would've been more helpful than having unvaccinated employees walking around a hospital.

Dems claim that passing the supplemental MaineCare budget would have kept this hospital open. GOP say that allowing unvaccinated healthcare workers to keep their jobs would've avoided the closure. Hard to say which is correct.
