Trump takes credit for any ceasefire or conflict that is resolved between two countries anywhere in the world despite the fact that he had zero involvement, never spoke to the leaders involved, never heard of the countries, and can’t find them on a map.

National Guard collects unfavorable public input on D.C. deployment Internal documents reviewed by The Post reveal, with rare candor, how domestic missions rooted in politics risk damaging Americans’ trust in the military.

WaPo exclusive: The National Guard, in measuring public sentiment about Trump’s federal takeover of Washington, D.C., has internally assessed that its mission is perceived as “leveraging fear,” driving a “wedge between citizens and the military.” www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...

The amusing thing about this clip is the infrastructure bill was literally the first and only thing Nancy Mace brought up in terms of her accomplishments in Congress. Her biggest win for her district was legislation she voted against.

Here’s the thing, I absolutely believe there is a significant percentage of MAGA who now believe that Trump is guilty of the Epstein stuff but they don’t care.

It’s telling that a majority of Republicans on House Oversight Committee chose to defy Trump and vote to subpoena Epstein files.

Hegseth Signal messages came from email classified ‘SECRET,’ watchdog told.

The revelation contradicts the Trump administration’s long-standing claims that no classified information was shared by the defense secretary’s account during the “Signalgate” scandal.

NEW: Pete Hegseth lied to Congress and perjured himself when he said his Signal messages contained no classified information.

Washington Post story just out.

Messages from Hegseth’s Signal account - which previewed a US bombing in Yemen - were derived from a classified email labeled “SECRET”.

The central dividing line in Democratic politics is not between the left and the moderate wing, it’s between serious people who understand we’re in an existential fight against an incipient fascist regime and irredeemable narcissists who just want to keep fighting the 2016 primary forever.

Important trend here: Trump is gutting the agencies that gather economic and other statistics. At some point, media may have to start using privately collected numbers, which risk being manipulated and of course will be rejected by Trump if they’re unfavorable.

I always take issue with calling the radical extremist justices "conservatives." But at this point we must also stop calling the 3 dissenters "liberals." THEY are the conservatives! They are trying to conserve the Constitution and our Democracy.

ADL chief says he regrets not calling out Musk’s sieg heil “more clearly” when it happened.
Except ADL didn’t “call it out” at all. Instead, the org outright defended Musk, and said his action *wasn’t* antisemitic. That seems pretty clear to me.

Opinion | RIP, MAHA Robert F. Kennedy promised to improve nutrition and reduce environmental toxins. How’s that going?

“Make America Healthy Again” has a simple premise: Americans don’t need more access to medical care. They just need better nutrition and exposure to fewer environmental toxins.
Unfortunately, Trump is A) taking away nutritional assistance and B) expanding use of environmental toxins.
