Yep, I looked forward to them so much each month as a kid! With no internet, it was the only source of information I had for years and I always read them through to the end. That's also how I got to experience Soul Reaver and Metal Gear Solid for the first time, both had such memorable demos.

There was something quite special in the late 90s about reading game manuals for me. Their content was usually my first detailed venture into the exciting new worlds and contained useful tips & lore I couldn't get otherwise. Tunic recreated this rare feeling of wonder again 🦊❤️
