The old hag creates the most scary stories to make sure that no one goes to the forest south of the river. And the villagers ended up believing them. I mean, people who enter the forest rarely return. But for the travellers that come and go from Airadur constantly...

There has been a significant reduction of work from my major client, and it is becoming problematic financially. I'm also making a discount in my normal price.
