The spotify age marker isn't about frequency, it's about breadth.
If your listening covered soul, new wave, the Beatles, in fact any music from the 60s 70s & 80s, your *age* will be up whereas if you only listened to current hits your age will be young.
Not really an achievement, peanut head.

ftr we baled from spotify in September (subs being spent on weapons etc) but I did go back to retrieve my wrapped (I mean, it was my work anyway) and can confirm my spotify age is 65 thanks to an interest in Stevie, Al Green, Berlin-era Bowie and Elvis C.

Liking it now so I stay with the herd.

Also, this brings us in line with most OECD countries, such as the UK, Canada and Australia.

Diving into the trash debate that is C Luxon's spotify age & I'd venture it's low because he's never listened to music in his life & thus has no go-to library of fave music from his 50 something years of life on the plant.
He's demonstrated he's a hollow shell in other respects.

Also goes without saying minority Govts also steer clear of extreme lawmaking, which would be a relief for many people.

I mean, the Nats and ACT have plenty on common (property rights > human rights), and Lab Grn & TPM share enough values to form a coalition.
Whereas NZF has proven over the years it'll support ANY policy, no matter how crackpot or dangerous, it it gets them 5%.
This is not a recipe for good Govt.

This would be much more in the spirit of MMP than the governing arrangements this & previous Governments have cobbled together with NZF.

In a parallel universe (but with similar voting patterns as today) Aotearoa would have minority governments (right & left) & exclude NZF from power.
However, that would require other parties to put the nation's interests ahead of their own desire for power.
So not gonna happen.

NZF current bandwagons are anti treaty anti vax drill baby drill fuck DOC fuck unions fuck the UN fuck LGBTQ+.

That's where they're getting their votes.
