Although it seems like a great idea, many of us need every inch of storage we can get. I did extensive remodeling to age in place 3 years ago, but this isn't something I would do until absolutely necessary. Not an expensive or difficult modification when needed.

Attending social events used to mean fulfilling your duty as a guest by engaging with others. Sometimes it meant listening & responding to others even on subjects holding no interest for the guest & politely disengaging after a few minutes. But small talk can be a gateway to serious discussions.

Just for fun, I called Sen. Moody's office to ask about the East Wing demolition.They referred me to her statement on X. I asked if she posted it on other social media- crickets.The staffer read me the statement & it seems destruction of a building is merely a renovation as done by many Presidents.

My grandfather leaned socialist but my father's generation were so traumatized by the depression & and WWII that they just wanted to settle for a peaceful life. They ceded control to politicians who then sold themselves to corporations. Now the choice is between facism & what I call socialism light.

And not providing id, no warrant shown, mistreating a cooperating teen girl are not violations of the law? Just like the cops do regularly, they could interrupt this in progress, claim it as a crime & sort it out in court. Instead, aiding & abetting what are likely human traffickers.

I live in Florida. The influence of Cuban Americans & their unwarranted sense of entitlement makes me thrilled every time one of them is caught up in these unconstitutional detentions.
