bluesky was best when it was invite only, but based on the recent actions of the mods, their true colors would have come out eventually, regardless of the size of the app's population.

feel like the solution is an invite-only microblog app with a non-crap mod team. run on donations like wikipedia.

Bluesky's lack of a coms team does indeed give us some of these funny moments such as:

you could read the article or just the next post in this thread. if the percentage of voters had been higher, she would have done worse because more non-voters would have gone to trump over her. she was very unpopular.
