This is all so depressing. If new tech and platforms have ways of being abused for personal gain, that's exactly what will happen. So it was with gamifying social media engagement, so it now is with AI content scraping & recreation. But where's any responsibility taken by big tech?

All this disruption (& serious issues) caused by AI infused tech now, but is it all justified as part of the process of this technological shift, or just a big flashing beacon telling us big tech are blindly racing ahead with AI for business reasons over any sense of caution over consequences...
