The weird part is some of those people were legit performers in real life but the movie hardly makes that clear. Tom Thumb was literally the Michael Jackson of his day! But why highlight that when we got to have more Hugh Jackman dancing in a top hat?

I completely agree with that; I don't think he is going to be in it much either. The fact that he wasn't announced with the returning cast members yesterday is a worrying warning sign (even if they did have to get a new VA).

He had tons of fan arts and fanfics back in 2016, babied or not, but alas it's been almost a decade so it's hard to keep the momentum going forever. Maybe the sequel will up his popularity again.
